London Pride.. Picked it up and drinking beer when I was working in London. I have to say everyone back in North America think it's an acquired taste.

Work mates always went out on Fridays for it (that and Carling, but I didn't think it was that great).

(This might also be due to the fact that I absolutely love owls... of course, the beers taste great too)

Just tried some Black Dog Ale last night. Brewed in MT. Tasted like weak Guiness with that burnt brown sugar taste.

Have been looking for some decent domestic Belgian wits. Any recommendations?

Most of my favorites are dry-hopped IPAs:
Victory Hop Devil
Weyerbacher
Stone IPA
Ithaca Beer Co. Flower Power

And some oddballs:
Ithaca Beer Co. Nut Brown Ale
Trois Pistoles

Had one of these in Madrid a few years ago and have basically been planning my study-abroad program around being able to drink it again...

I found Tilburg's Dutch Brown Ale at a local place and fell immediately in love. It's my favorite right now.

Close second is Samuel Smith's Taddy Porter.

WTF? I actually live quite close to that place.

That brewery produces a couple of beers that do quite well, but this must be some export variety....the things one learns on the interwebz

My favorite cheaper beer is Paulaner Hefe-Weizen. I can drink that often. If I'm feeling really cheap I've had High Life. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is acceptable, but I get sick of it after a while. I also like Corona Extra for a summer beer. It's oddly expensive where I live though.

As far as my expensive favorites somewhat easy to come by beers go, I absolutely love St. Bernardus White when it's on tap. Trappistes Rochefort 8 and 10 and Chimay White are also quite amazing.

As you can tell, I like the wheat beers a lot!
