I wish I was in his shape

Anyhow, I'm eagerly awaiting some better looking suits (vox, please don't start posting self-portraits, let's carve out this thread - just one thread)

Some other interesting 1961 photographs in that thread, if you care to look. Well before the Peacock Revolution, the London tailors were playing around with form.

Vox,

This picture doesn't look as "bad" as the one Doc posted. I gather both style are from the same era. I do have a stylistic problem with the sudden waist suppression. It does not look smooth. It creates a look of wearing a skirt.

You're a lovable jackass.

Have you seen this one?

Vittorio de Sica. He was the best dressed man in Italy, even when Agnelli was the best dressed man in Italy.

I'm trying to remember where that Youtube clip of that Italian movie from the early 50s that was shot in Naples...the guy is sitting on terrace at a table, and he had the most amazing jacket on.

Do you remember the one that I'm talking about? I can't find it, or else I would post it in this thread.

Vittorio de Sica is looking pretty good in these pics - better than the over-praised Agnelli IMO

That was also de Sica, I believe, and I remember the clip, but don't know the movie, so I can't search for it. Uppercase posted it.
