You are correct. That was the first time I failed to make a productive contribution to a thread. But do not despair Little Buffy, I will return to giving you a well-deserved hard time shortly.

I wore these today. They definitely aren't a pure, snow white. They are more of a dirty white, almost a really light gray with tan undertones. However, if I had to describe them, I'd probably call them white flannel. They are lightweight and seem to work best on a sunny day when the temperature is in the 50s and 60s. I pair them with a blazer.

Zing! Awww man, you burned me so bad.

But seriously, I derive meaning in my life from my family, friends, and work. Making fun of internet marsupials is a minor hobby. To put it in context, I spend more time playing with my cat than I do posting on internet forums. And I spend more time cleaning Kitty's litter box than I do responding to your posts.

I was under the impression that white flannel pants were at one time a wintertime dressy casual classic, at least back in the Golden Era.

Dissed and dismissed! Wait, are you making fun of me or my cat? I am fair game, but leave Kitty out of this.

I spoke to my cloth merchant and he mentioned perhaps a women's cloth store would carry a white or very light grey flannel.

AA proves it's been done. I imagine it to look smashing.

Those look really nice. I recall Baron wearing (quasi-) white flannel trousers, no idea though where he got them from.

I had a pair made up a few years ago. I think the flannel was from Holland & Sherry.

Generations of cricketers did. I don't find them (I'd guess 11-12oz) unduly hot.
