IME no. And not just because of different face shapes.

I just got back from the optical shop after trying on different RB wayfarers, both the classic and the square versions. The size of the nose pads (if that's what they're called) was not consistent.
I don't know if this is due to poor quality control on RB's part.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the Rayban and Prada are now made by the same company. Quality should be about the same...

I have a trade magazine in from of me. I got it yesterday.

and I quote
"A man in France has been sentanced to eight months in prison by Brittonic court for selling fake Ray-Ban sunglasses on the internet. The culprit has also been ordered to pay Luxottica (Company who makes Ray-Bans) more than 90,000 euros in damages and interest, as well as 43,200 euros in customs fines."

Buy on the internet, but be aware of what you are buying....

ALMOST all faces. Because of the pantoscopic tilt (tilt of the front of the frame) it doesn't fit people with low nose bridges. The angle is all wierd and it touches the cheeks.

x-posted in Recent Purchases thread as well...

Ok here are my Oliver Peoples Riley with green lenses. I LOVE them.

They are similar to the Ray-Ban Wayfarer, but still pretty different. The frame is much thinner and lighter, as well as the lenses are more rounded. Despite being lighter and thinner they feel much more durable and well made than my old Ray-Bans. The faux shell is also wayyyyyyy nicer than the Ray-Bans, and the gold inlay in the frame (not visible) is a nice touch as well. I can't say enough how nice these are in person. The photos do no justice, but I only have a camera phone.

Those are great. I wish I could pull those off, it just seems that rectangles are the shape that fit my face best.

news: Alternative to Clubmasters....

LaFont Byron

I cant find anything on the internet butI just saw them in another trade magazine. Looks quite similar. I dont know if they are released yet though. They have the top half of the frame is acetate as well as the temple. The bottom of the frame is metal, as well as the bridge.

I will post pics when I find some.
