just had a meat pie from the Australian Bakery in Atlanta. One of the (many) things I miss from Australia is a good 4 and 20 with sauce.

Even thse gourmet pies fail when compared to those with "real beef bits and gravy."

Not as big a fan of the English varietal but they are still tasty.

Don't get me started on Chicken Pot Pie...

I'd never had a meat pie till I arrived in New Zealand last year, and now, I don't know how I ever got on without them.

Give me a steak and cheese or straight up mince. Some fries on the side for dipping, and a bit of tomato sauce.

One of my biggest regrets from when I lived in Sydney is not eating at Harrys.

I love meat pies. I've eaten at harry's, and I like australian style pies, british style pies. cornish pasties, lebanese kubeh, various south american empanadas - argentinian empanadas are probrably my favorite of the bunch.

Nah. Ontario has enough Frenchies to keep me stocked up.
