+1 on the womb chair. I've considered a knockoff.

Ditto!

When I was there a week ago, the DWR Annex Outlet in Secaucus had a limited production piece upholstered with a custom designed Proenza Schouler fabric.

To be honest you have to be around miy height to really be comfortable in them. I don't use mine to lounge, only to read.

How tall are you? Can you not lounge in it or do you just choose not to?
It looks awfully comfortable - I should swing by the DWR and check it out.

1,73M or so, it's more of a stiff but enveloping experience, great for watching a movie or reading, less so to curl up and relax.

I love how none of your seating is actually comfortable.

We have a couple of these. They are insanely comfortable. Even better, nobody thinks they would be, so nobody sits in them.

They look like those wedge sex chairs.

Be careful, in some houses the doorways are not wide enough to accomodate a Ball chair....

I haven't measured to be sure, but I think my house is one of them.

Yes, I am familiar with your philosophy of grudgingly having guests over but getting them out the door as quickly as possible. I think it's funny, and although I agree with that philosphy in principle, I could never bring myself to purchase furniture on that basis. Those do look comfy though.

He's probably talking about the Swan couch. I doubt the Egg chair or what other posters think is the egg chair (Aarnio's globe chair) was ever done as a couch by their original designers. That'd look quite horrible to be frank.
