I hadn't heard of smotherbox. That's actually kind of cool (for fans of the mollusk). ********** is actually pretty tame. ******* is simply atrocious though.

I don't think you really appreciate what "gay rights" are really all about. We're long past the days when it was about being left alone--now it's an all-out campaign to turn a deviant sexual practice into an alternative lifestyle, to legitimize that lifestyle in the popular culture, to force recognition through the state and ultimately to bring the coercive power of the state down against the holdouts. On the other hand, if you're cool with using the government to effect [and ultimately enforce] social change...

As I said on that thread, I disagree. You ban the dangerous; you keep the clowns around to entertain the kids. If he strays into mattjames, Catechumen, bobbyd territory... then fine... but he's not gone there yet.
