They play with the contrast too, its hard to tell what color items really are, because everything looks really vivid, and the ridiculous poses don't help.

Gotten a couple of questions about fit, so here's a comparison. Note that at 5'10" 185, I'm not a fit model. The shirts are unironed and I took the pics before I had any coffee.

J Crew medium (bought recently)

IMO, boo fits closest, but not necessarily best. Gitman has best fabric and collar. J crew was best value, and I can always take it to the cobbler to get it to fit like the boo.

One problem with the gitman shirt--after I wear it around all day, it gets some creases running from the yoke/shoulder seam to the neck, under the collar. I suppose that means it's a little small in the shoulders, but the boo fits tighter and I don't get the same issue.

I am silly, tiny and fit in midgetwear! Boo was made for me! Looks like the gitman ocbd is around the same length as the boo. I wonder if gitman makes an XS

I think he sized down 6 and that's why the shirt also appears to fit slim.

Thanks a lot for the pics. I'm about the same size (5'10, 175) and wear the same sizes. The Gitman looks like a good fit between the JCrew and BoO

Thanks for the pics. Is that Gitman in Large? I'm surprised that it has a pretty similar fit to a J Crew Medium.

^I did think it was going to be a bit longer. Although it's possible the madras shirts fit a little looser than the oxfords.

Low quantity production + Internet buzz = sold out

FWIW, I emailed Context about restocking and it sounded like they'd eventually be doing another order of Gitman.

So Context is the only retailer that carries that particular design and will ship to the U.S. in the entire world?

And if they sold out that fast why don't they notify production to crank more of that **** out ASAP. Seems like any serious shortage should be very temporary if the business is operating correctly.

Fred Segal Trend has it, too, though they're down to small and XL's.

As for Context, it looked like they only had two of each size for each design to start with. Not exactly a lofty inventory when you consider how much press these have gotten over the past couple weeks. At any rate, I imagine they'll get more soon and all will be right with the world.

Until then, I again request fit pics from anyone who bought any of the shirts from this wave of shirts. I'm still on the fence about the purple one, since I think it looks so much better on Context, even if it appears their pics don't convey the true shades of color.

The buzz was kind of dumb. I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed with their shirts when they get them in the mail over the next few days.

Whats with the super short body? why not just tuck if you want a short/neat look?
Imo, a longer body looks better untucked aswell, alá Take Ivy, alot more relaxed and "carefree".

im only 5'8, every other shirt goes way below the crotch
