If you're buying new shoes, get brown ones. If you only had black shoes and wanted to use them with khaki you could do it...it wouldn't be optimal, but you could do it. If you're actually buying new shoes though, you might as well get brown.

I probably wouldn't wear them w/ that outfit, but I do love those shoes!!!

As mentioned, it can be done. But will look rather bold and I think th tie has to be black in that case.

khaki suit plus black grenadine is a classic combo

Looks good to me, particularly with a grenadine. Although I'd say it also depends on the shade of the khaki. The following lighter shade looks good (as opposed to a darker tan)

You can wear them with a khaki suit, white shirt, white pocket square and black tie. i cant think of any other way that wouldnt look better with brown shoes.Originally Posted by emmanuel
I pretty much agree with this. I think it would look good. I also agree that those particular black shoes are too bulky looking for a light summer suit. Other than that, darker brown shoes would be better.
