So I took pictures.

The one on the right from the barber shop, who's friends with one of workers came in to show off his new Mercedes and his new shoes.

That's strange - I hear of experiences like that a lot here; yet when I wear 'nice shoes' (and that's by no means common in my surroundings, believe me) very unstylish people often comment positively on them.
