I'm a Gooner and I'm pleased with the result. Great goal by Ade. I really wish we had AA for the Champions League. He is absolute class.

United are lucky once again. Macheda rescued them from their blushes during the villa match and now it's some dumb portuguese. **** Bruno Alves!

Friekin Bruno Alves..what an idiot. Technically though, it was a great run by Rooney at the same time.

We'll see how it goes at Porto!

I know we say it about a lot of players at Arsenal but he genuinely has that Bergkamp esq vision and mentality of knowing what a player is going to do before they do.

Also I was so impressed with Senna last night. Not just his shooting but he is an fantastic box to box mid who made life very difficult for our centre mids (first time this season i haven't been impressed with Denilson). Shame he is 31/32 otherwise he would be chased by all of the top clubs. Great player

He played brilliantly in Euro cup. One of Spain's hardest working players, and one of the reasons Cesc didn't get much playing time.

Barca is terrifying. From the Guardian liveblog:

"27 min: It's difficult to put into words just how under the cosh Bayern are. Their defence is in complete disarray, their midfielders have barely got a touch between them and their only chance of salvation seems to lie in the hope that their goalkeeper's injured face will swell up enough to block a decent sized portion of the goal. A team of 11 traffic cones would put up a better show than this lot are at the moment."

"45+3 min: It's half-time. The players from both teams trudge off the field for a well-earned rest. If Bayern Munich's players have any sense they won't come back out. Remember when Barecelona played Celtic a season or two ago and no Celtic player touched the ball in the first half? Well that Barcelona performance was fairly pedestrian compared to tonight's Barcelona performance."

And yet, once again, ESPN has chosen to deny us the joy of watching the superior game.

Always a first time but I must admit it looks grim without the first choice defence.

AND WTF IS WES BROWN AND THE TWIN?????

I'm still bothered over the result but the thrashing Chelsea is giving the Scouse is making me feel better.
