and then seeing Cesc smash them and reveal that he could never possibly leave Arsenal would be nice.

Seriously though, it would be the most open final you could hope for.

I would expect arsenal to get through these games. Having a fresh Cesc should do the trick, plus we can flood the midfield and over-run Senna, who seems to make them tick. Plus i think Villareal lack a top notch striker capable of out pacing or out muscling our back four./QUOTE]

When that back four includes Gallas, anything is possible. As for Villarreal's strickers...Giusseppe Rossi? Nihat? These are not top notch strikers? Their running will likely cause some discomfort for the Arsenal, although they are less potent without Cazorla.

I love Cesc, but come on.

Definitely agree with Gallas' inconsistency. He has been playing better as of late but it's no secret that Arsenal's defense needs improvement/changes.

To be honest, my opinion on Arsenal has nothing to do with Villareal or their quality, just with what seems to me to be the typical "Gosh, I'd like to see Arsenal win this one," and then they lose. It's just me. We'll see.

Damn, I just found out Howard Webb is officiating the Barça game. He's awful.

1st thing, NO ONE was offside on any goal. 2nd thing, of course you conveniently forget the blatant DIVE that caused the free kick for Arsenal's first goal AND the ref not playing the advantage on Lehman's red card.

YES! ManU 2-2 Porto. Nice one. Wish I had seen the game. Was it good.

And Arsenal managed a draw away also. Not too bad.

Who wants to lay odds that Porto actually holds on at home for a 1-0 win and goes through?
