Vox, should you win the you're matt contest, would not that make a future contest of You're Vox less attractive as the forum already knows who the winner would be?

Well, it seems that Matt's mostly 3 roll 2.5. So there might still be a market for a contest of You're Vox in DB, in one button suit, etc.

I assure you, there is no market whatsoever for a "You're Vox" contest, not unless we expect electric fences around insane asylums to suddenly fail.

At any rate, as I predicted, I have won this contest. Matt, please pick out the Rubinacci tie that smells least like Aqua Velva...I don't want to be completely overpowered when I open the envelope.

Thank you.

The good and the bad

- Cashmere plaid 3-2 roll jacket (grr, no patch pockets)
- OCBD shirt (grr, it's white, not cream or blue, plus not enough tie space since I never wear them done up normally)
- Suitably dark Marinella tie (grr, not unlined)
- slim cut plaid trousers with minimal break (grr, no 2" cuffs)
- cream cotton pocket square in square fold with rolled edges showing

Things I remembered about my likes and dislikes

- I really, really, really hate wearing OCBDs done up and with ties. It bugged me all day long.
- the jacket really needs an inch of length taking off the sleeves. I'll wait until I rotate the jacket out of my wardrobe when spring really hits us.

Things I learnt about iammatt

- it's really difficult to copy his posture. I don't know what that says about his, because mine is already pretty bad!
- I have no idea what kind of shoes he wears.
- dude makes it look simpler than it is.
- his wardrobe is very, very different from mine - it was a major stretch to even come up with this very vague approximation.

^ Dang...that's pretty good. The whole plaid-on-plaid captures his essence.

Contest is back on.

First dookey, now Matt's essence.

I feel... soiled & violated.

That's what comes of wearing OCBDs with ties.

Solid effort Holdfast, but I think the solid cream TV-fold pocket square throws a wrench in things.

Many things throw a wrench into that effort! ... but the cream square actually has a floral design woven into it.

I don't know. It's not like we have to guess his wife's weight like other threaks around here.

It is less creepy now that it is just another Vox Santorum threak.
