According to the card, 9-6:30 Monday thru Wednesday (April 13-15), 9-5 Thursday (April 16) at 317 w 33rd. Last year, I found no entry or coat check line and very manageable crowds on day 1 in the mid afternoon, FWIW. BTW, credit cards (Visa, Amex, MC, Discover, Diner's) only, all sales final. Don't bring strollers or kids under 12 (just giving the facts...). Phone number is 718-747-1656, www.soifferhaskin.com.

One other thing (which I don't remember from last year, but perhaps I wasn't paying attention) - they will apparently have fabric lengths for both suits and outerwear.

The staples go earlier, esp those in the standard size range and regular length.

The eccentric pieces and odd sizes linger longer.

How was the wait last year? I went to the same place (host by same people) for Ferragamo last time, and it was a freaking ridiculous long wait (it was on the weekend). I did end up picking up a Tramezza monkstrap for 139, so couldnt' complain about that I guess.

Just saw the poster, and it includes Paul Stuart's shoes. How do people rate these shoes against say C&J, comparable at all? Never went to Paul Staurat at all actually...

Also, do Paul Stuart's suit come in 36? Might buy a piece just for experiment if discount is big enough.

Anyone know what we should expect to pay on samples for things like shoes? Also considering they are samples will all shoes be say size 9?

Sample sale is a misnomer. Paul Stuart tends to keep stock around for ages, this is all merchandise that was on the store floor but could be up to 5+ years old.
