Would it be marsupialed for me to buy them and have them taken in? It's such an appealing price, and I just feel like the Vibskov drop crotches are too extreme. I know, I'm a puss.

If you can remove the croc, I'd say yay, otherwise nay. Lacoste actually make some quality sneakers, the croc always bothers me though, I think 99% of the time it looks out of place.

I have those shown and in brown leather as well. I love them. They are definitely one of the better looking pair of boots I've seen for pants with a tapered leg with a hem of ~7.5" or less. (IMHO, I don't think they look very good with a straight leg though; they are not a 'chunky' boot.) FWIW, my girlfriend says they are her favorite pair of shoes I own (and I have a lot of shoes...). They aren't for everyone, but I like them, and I get a lot of wear out of them.

I know you're one for confrontation, but I think you're wrong here, lacoste are not 'garbage', the quality is decent and the brand has a reputation, they're certainly above vans in the market.

I like those boots (are they BoO?), only I'm uncertain about the cream/redline sole trim, I'd get out some black paint/polish and work some magic on it if I copped those.

?

Saw a cream pair of perf loafers a few weeks ago, made in indonesia and synthetic lined. Smelled like a petroleum by-product... they'd probably run my car if i stuffed them inside the fuel tank
