This thread is gold, I am in love with what Alden does, I wish I only had more money and better access to their stores. The one pair I have is pictured below, cigar shell cordovan, purchased in december at the Madison Avenue store (fantastic store, really great service).

Guys, need your opinions on the fit of these Alden Cap Toes (plaza last). Love the shoe. However, I have an unhealthly obsession with always believing my shoes look too big on me. Clown shoe. Let me know what you think of the fit of these. Thanks.

yes, they look way too big. size down 4, even if its cuts your circulation off

they look just fine. Actually better than fine, they look great. I've been looking for plaza last alden boots for a while. Where did you get them from?

need to get my alden issue resolved and sell a few more things. once I do its either ultimate indys or margiela german armys in grey suede... but honestly, I don't see myself paying that much for sneakers.
