I'd say Maine ****. I believe Norwegians have "tuftier" ears... kind of like bobcats.

Go to a shelter or look online for Maine **** adoptions - there's A LOT of sites for this very thing. You will find a cat as beautiful as the one you pictured and it will be fortunate to find a great home that it was previously denied. Maine Coons are, to me, the most wonderful of cats: they're very loving, rarely aloof, and tolerate (actually enjoy) extensive petting and handling. They also have complex vocalizations, have beautiful lion-like facial features, and commonly grab objects and pick them up with one or both of their front paws. They are true companions by discretely following you around and just hanging out with you wherever you are. They also tend to be very big cats. And their fur is the softest thing you can ever run your fingers through!

At first glance it looked like a domestic longhair to me, but upon further review it might be a maine **** mix.

They live a long time, but they stay very youthful and kitten-like for many of those years.
