Any info or advice on Artioli and Lattanzi shoes?
Are they on par with Lobb Ready to wear, better than Bertuli or Corthay?

I have one pair of Artioli shoes and they fit and feel better than any shoe I've worn.
That's all I know.

I think that you would be hard pressed to find a RTW shoe made more anti-industrially than a Lattanzi.

Thank you Kuro....
I'm thinking of trying a pair of Lattanzi or Artioli but they're difficult to find in London...
I have done the triology G&G, Lobb and Berluti and i would like to try something different without paying the bespoke price...

Well I don't have either, but have fondled many of both. I suppose it depends on what type of shoe that you want. Artioli seems a little lighter in weight than Lattanzi, but from what I've seen is also somewhat pointy.

Ready to wear (or RTW for short), there is no shoe that is anywhere near as anti industrially made as Silvano Lattanzi (or SL for short.

Non RTW (be it bespoke, made to order or MTO for short, etcetera), there are several shoes that are just as anti industrially made as SL (Vincent & Edgar, Perry Ercolino, Dimitri Gomez, Paul Davies, Benjamin Kleeman, Koji Suzuki, to name a few-alright a little bit more than a few). There are several more non RTW shoes (again, be it bespoke, MTO, etcetera) that are close to being just as anti industrially made as SL (John Lobb St. James, Berluti, Koronya, Aubercy, Vass, Jason Amesbury, to name a few or a little bit more than a few).

However, most bespoke, MTO and other non RTW shoes are much less anti industrially made than RTW and MTO or bespoke shoes from SL.

For my RTW , I go to John Lobb Jermyn street...The Prestige models are beautiful , well made and they know my tastes...
I have tasted Berluti and i'm not crazy about them...The leather is too thin and fragile and their patina is like a dating a woman with far too much make-up on...
I had a few pairs of JM WESTON and they're ok but nothing exciting....
I'm looking for a different look ....Artioli looks interesting such as Corthay...
Regarding bespoke....I'm a Anthony Delos customer in Paris and Tony Gaziano in London...

If I remember correctly, Harrods did stock Artioli a few years back, but they do not at present. Artioli shoes are very popular with a middle-Eastern clientele and that is the market, the company’s designs aim at. Very pretty, very sharp in a flashy sort of way: the shoes are expensive and they show it. Mostly, maybe always, in Blake construction. It is possible that ‘Avi Rossini’ stocks Artioli under their own label. Or try any of the other Mayfair shops aiming at this particular niche of the market. http://www.artioli.com/ You will not find Lattanzi in London; just take a trip to Rome or Milan. In my opinion, Lattanzi is rather hit-and-miss: some of his shoes are stunning, but others are really OTT. http://www.silvanolattanzi.com/apache2-default/

Artioli are nice but not in the Lattanzi league. Artioli makes for Ricci, a match made in heaven as Ricci is a flashy brand and Artioli likes making teh flash. I have only seen two pairs of Lattanzi in person and am not a shoe construction expert but would venture to say that they are as well made as any bespoke you can get.

I think they are both the best of their kind RTW. Artioli makes, I think, the nicest soft Italian style shoe, but the styles are often hideous. Lattanzi makes the nicest robust Italian style shoe, but the designs are often hideous.

Lattanzi may be well made, but they are pretty safe shoes in terms of design. Artioli is quite the opposite, very sharp lasts and so so construction. Many Artioli's are blake.

My Artioli's are very conservative, no flash. A simple cap toe. They are in Dallas and I am in Chicago or I would post a pic.

Lattanzi also makes some out there (and hideous) shoes...

+100. I get wanting the absolute best in quality, but I can't say I've ever seen a RTW pair of Lattanzis that I've actually wanted to wear.
