Everything tastes better with an egg on it?

So in the past couple of weeks, I've had a burger, a burrito, and a BLT - and each one had a fried/poached egg on it. Each of the three was already great in itself, from a reputable place - and the egg made it better every time.

MMMM... I highly recommend this.

In Italy I had pizza with an egg. They just cracked an egg in the middle of the pizza and cooked it that way. And it did indeed make it better.

very true. I try to find an excuse to crack an egg on top of anything, especially hot rice bowls. I think one of these days I'll try making a steak that way.

Quail's egg on tartare (steak or tuna). Some might find the combo doubly off-putting. I think it can be really good.

Yes, there are restaurant chains that agree with your egg theory.

I raw quail's egg on top of tuna tartare at a great sushi place a couple of weeks ago. It was quite delicious.

Reminds me of my childhood. Ramen was one of my great guilty pleasures.

This is a fact.

I reheated a spring vegetable soup I made on Sunday last night (I love having soup throughout the week) and poached an egg in the soup as it was heating up. There wasn't much yolk because it was slightly more done than I wanted, but man was it fan-freakin-tastic.

Next time you make paella, do this. When you put it in the oven, scramble up some eggs (huevos revuelto to be really el authentico) and pour them over the rice...mmm effing mmm brah.
