I would like to know what people think about the fit of my first made-to-measure shirt. I am thinking of having slimmer sleeves.

Please give me your opinions.

Sleeves seem a little long like on my latest MTMs. Will it shrink with washings?

The sleeves are ok, but there is something not right with the chest area. How about button your collar up?

Thank you for your comments. The collar closes perfectly. There is 0.4 inch extra space so that the collar does not fit too tight around the neck. The picture may give a wrong impression. However, there is definitely some extra fabric around the chest and stomach. I do not prefer a very tight fit. The sleeves should be slimmer indeed. Any suggestions on how this should be done?

The shirt has not been washed yet. I guess the difference will not be that much. However, if the sleeves would be shorter the cuffs would not be visible while wearing a jacket.

I uploaded a few pictures from another similar shirt. However, this one has been washed. The shirt has the same fit as the one shown above. This time I closed the collar. Please let me know what you think.

Generally looks pretty good, if you are saying you don't like a tight fit. The sleeves on the second, washed, shirt look like they are going to be too short for a jacket.

Please wash it three times, post pix, and ask again.

It's a little roomy, you might be able to get away fit a tailored fit shirt. Besides the shirt being a bit dressy for those jeans everything else seems to be in order.

1. Wear and wash the shirt 3 times.
2. Never put a dress shirt in the dryer. Always hang dry.
3. If you still feel that the sleeves are too loose, take out just a tiny bit. Too slim, and you won't be able to move.
4. Check the fit in the chest area.

I will take a picture while wearing a jacket soon.

The shirt was made by a German company called Emanuel Berg. Their shirts are completely machine-made. The quality is comparable to that of the machine-made shirts by Lorenzini. Shirts are between 150 and 400 euro, depending on the chosen fabrics.

Do you really think the second shirt is roomy? I only wanted to show the fit of my shirt. I will not wear this shirt with jeans though.

The shirts seem to have a different fit indeed. Can you please tell me why you think the chest of the second shirt is too tight? I noticed that the sleeves are a bit too short as well. Can you please tell me how tight the cuffs should be in your opinion? I did not use a dryer.

Can you please tell me why washing once would not be enough? By the way, I just washed the other shirt as well.
