I would like to order some C&Js online, but don't have a chance to try on a pair first.

In order to avoid sizing problems, I was thinking about making a mold of my foot, posting it to plal, and getting them to use the mold to recommend a good size.

Crazy? Has anyone tried this before?

Yes. This is crazy. You realize it would be easier and cheaper to just order two sizes and return one pair. Plal is quite accommodating with shipping and fit issues.

i am thinking to get a C&J from http://www.shoesnorthampton.co.uk/index.html

with the weakening GBP they seems to be cheaper than PLAL as their prices include shipping

As for me, I am just gonna take a stab and try my luck with size....I can always sell it back in SF
