a quick poll: denounce or ignore?

So, here's a hypo we've all seen before: You see a thread that _for some ungodly reason_ you click on. You read it, and it sucks.

Wait - it doesn't just suck, it sucks pretty badly and while it's not plainly offensive (because if it were that offensive, you would hit the snitch button, 'cause you're a good citizen), you kind of wish it would disappear quietly on its own.

But you also want to admonish the OP and tell him how much his thread sucks. But admonishing the thread bumps the thread, and it takes that much longer for it to fall to the black hole of page 2.

So...what do you do? post in the thread denouncing the thread and the OP by association, or just ignore it and hope other posters do the same?

Plese vote in the poll, if I remember how polls work.
