yay recession!

I looked at their ebay page, and IMO it's way overpriced for second hand. Unless they have TB suits in the sub-$1,000 range, I'll be avoiding.

Kind of overpriced. You can buy unworn, unaltered, un-crapped-my-pants-when-my-fund-went-****-up TB for equal to and up to half of what they charge all over eBay.

Still, the schadenfreude is wonderful.

I never understood the pricing at consignment shops, or who actually pays those prices. You can buy brand new items often for less than they charge. Weren't brand new TB suits under $1k at Barneys--the main store, not the warehouse sale?

I hear that TB and Socal are liquidating their TB stuff now that the bubble has burst.

Socal has a great wardrobe of other stuff at least. I wonder where TB is going from the high water look?

I bet Gentlemen's resale on the UES has received quite a bit of merch these past couple months. Their prices are relatively reasonable too.

I was just there this past weekend, and I didn't find anything worthy that was size 38 or below.

In any case, Thom Browne has lowered his Bergdorf Goodman suit prices quite a bit, around $1,000 since last Spring's prices. When I was there just a few weeks ago, most suits were going for $3,400.

And now the suits are also made by Oxxford.

I thought they were still being made in that factory in LIC?

Serious?

Wow, that might be the perfected Oxxford then....provided it isnt too short.

SoCal, did the pattern change when they moved to Oxxford?

Really!

Oxxford specifically or a division of IAG?

With the new price points for TB, would you say TB is higher, lower, or about the same price as Oxxford.
