Even if you're a professional adult, the same suit and tie you wear to work doesn't necessarily translate to your evening plans. I prefer not to wear stripes or plaids in the evening, if you're going somewhere rather upscale it would be preferable not to be wearing brown shoes, and if you're going to a concert or something similar you might be ridiculously overdressed.

I don't know any 15 year old emo kids, so I can't speak to their lifestyle.

Read my other post, I don't condone the 'wear it everywhere' ideal. I just meant it was easier for a professional to pick an aesthetic that translated from daywear to nightwear than other people like...a student. But yes, of course there are exceptions. I don't think his point was meant to cover "I went to a funeral earlier and now I am going water skiing, how am I going to wear this suit???"

Sadly, I also own a few corny/conversation starter shirts from places like mixunit.com (none of that **** Busted Tees ****) that I sometimes wear when a night of serious drinking beckons. I don't care how well a button down fits me - it's just not going to get noticed the way a shirt related to rap/cocaine/money (or some combination thereof) being worn by a white guy will. I never fail to meet at least one interesting lady when I'm wearing one of these. And I only feel a little bit pathetic for doing it.

I still love my many years old "Black by Popular Demand" and "**** You, I'm from Texas" Shirts for serious drinking. The later however cannot be worn within the boundaries of Texas without being a variant of the guy that wears the shirt of the band he is going to see.

Usually I'll rock a nice shirt, like my l/s wolf shirt.

It says "born to roam" on the front and on the sleeves. Usually I rock it with a nice pair of carpenter jeans and some nice shoes. I've gotten a couple bitches pregnant wearing that shirt.

last night I hit up a banging club, bitches in tow like a ******* fishing net on a crab boat, passed straight by the doorman and right in to the VIP section. I was wearing a skin tight D&G (thats dolce and cabana for you loser nerd *****) leopoard print shirt with only 2 butts done, a GUCCI monogram belt and a pair of waxed black john galliano jeans over my snakeskin and elephant skin prada ropers. you geek ***** can stick to your 'work wear' (lol like you ever leave your computer), while I'm busy doing chicks 3 at a time in the back of my limo.
