I think his idea of wearing 'your aesthetic' 24/7 only works well for professional adults and 15 year old emo kids. If you are between that, dress codes vary by day and hour.
Even if you're a professional adult, the same suit and tie you wear to work doesn't necessarily translate to your evening plans. I prefer not to wear stripes or plaids in the evening, if you're going somewhere rather upscale it would be preferable not to be wearing brown shoes, and if you're going to a concert or something similar you might be ridiculously overdressed.
I don't know any 15 year old emo kids, so I can't speak to their lifestyle.
