I was fortunate enough to sit next to Kevin Durant last night, front row, for the entire game against Texas Tech here in Austin at which his jersey was retired. We chatted on and off about basketball and a few other things. I couldn't find a smooth transition point to ask him about his slim cut black suit, but I did manage to squeeze off a picture of his shoes.

One exchange: KD: What's your name? Me:Nate KD: Nate, I'm Kevin Durant, it's nice to meet you.

first of all, don't know or care who Kevin Durant is.

But I find it most **** that you chatted up a stranger man and shot pix of his shoes.

You need help, serious and fast. that's a STAT!

Kevin Durant is a Basketball player. I could see if you wanted an autograph or something. I bet his bedroom wall is filled with feet shots of famous people.

LOL, I agree it was creepy which is why I thought it was funny. Did it on the sly....just for you guys, but perhaps this is better targeted to MC.

Yeah it's a little strange, but the kid is simply amazing....it's too bad he plays for such a sorry team.

You say that now, but if they win the Blake Griffin sweepstakes, they will have a very, very scary core. Between Westbrook, Durant, Green, and Griffin, all that would really be missing (in the 1st unit) would be a great defensive Center. I think OKC is quietly becoming a very good team.

OKC is doing exactly what the Orlando Magic was doing, stockpiling on young talents. They'll be a force if they can keep Durant. He'll be a top 5 player for sure.
