Does anyone have any info on the Filson/Apolis Activism bag?

Am highly anticipating this bag but seeing as it's an AW09 piece I'll have a while to wait. In the meantime, I'm looking to ditch the North Face backpack I currently carry to work every day, does anybody have recommendations for a messenger bag that can fit a Macbook Pro?

In the absence of suggestions I may just take the plunge on a Saddleback Leather bag... lol

They should be the same dimensions as the standard Filson 256.

I have no idea what it says but it should be able to be seamripped. It looks like the same size as the regular Filson tag which is normally put on an inside panel.

Couple more things about the bag:

I'm sure everyone has figured out the measurements based off of the Filson Briefcase, but here are the measurements per Shea at Apolis:

16" W
12.5" H
4" D

Starts shipping 8/1 ish
Price is $396
and the tag is just stitched on...could be seam ripped off.

Can anyone else confirm the color of the bag? Detour mentioned above that it was navy, but I PMed Mauro, who said it was black. Both supposedly saw it in person. I don't know who to believe, haha.

When I saw it in person it looked black to me as well.

This whole thing reminds me of that "navy" EG bedford that was clearly black.

The rumor was that Apolis originally pegged the bag to be navy but after catching "Passenger 57" on TBS the Partons quickly changed their minds.
