This is ridiculous. Lately there are a ton of new members and even old members who should know better who are ruining sales threads. Can the bad posts be erased from there and users warned/banned?

Oh, no he di'int! The problem with B&S is that it's never been established what the purpose of it is. Half think it is a free market where they should make as much profit as the market will bear, the other half think profit is evil and that SF is a "gentleman's club" where we only aim to break even. These two ideologies have meshed okay until now... but maybe it's the bad economy or just an influx of newer/different kinds of posters/sellers... but I feel like that's where the biggest problems/headaches come from. The second group ***** about the first; the first group sometimes snark at each other to eliminate competition... and it just becomes a headache for you guys. Mods get all of the headaches, none of the rewards. Rather than closing it down, charge a 1% fee for every item sold, except for a select number of "quality sellers" who consistently do the forum a service or go above and beyond to help out others. 1% isn't too much to ask... it's less than ebay or other places. AND, at least you should be compensated for the headaches.

Maybe you could appoint some poor sod the B&S moderator ...

that's a fulfilling life right there...
