[even though I don't think the skull logos are cool] it's prob because every passerby frat boy doesn't recognize it.

A few SF influences that come to mind are:

I started wearing pocket squares because of SF, but for me it's always white linen and typically in a barely visible tv fold.

I've always worn cuffs, but made them 2 inch after SF, only to later reduce them to 1.75.

I was wearing shell shoes by Alden and RL before SF, but increased my collection after joining SF.

I never caught on to the SF love for knit ties and brightly colored or patterned socks with suits.

I love black shoes although SF tends to favor brown more.

I like SF for new ideas and to see what something would look like before I commit to purchasing something like it. I don't think it's a groupthink way of doing things. I do feel that there are people on here who tailor their style to be more acceptable by SF'ers. I often become bewildered by the rounds of applause in the SW&J WAYWN thread, where I just don't get some of the nut busting. I'm like "great, another pair of slim jeans and slightly unusual jacket. Wow, amazing stuff... (sarcasm)" while others are jumping head over heels in amazement. There's less of that on this forum. For me SF has been more of an eye opening experience in terms of what I like to wear now vs. what I liked wearing only a year or two ago. I would have been all over the SW&J forum a year or two ago, and I think that's where I headed when I joined, but the MC forum caught my eye quite a bit more and I have since began restructuring my wardrobe accordingly. Depending on how you look at it, it's either total groupthink or just a revelation.

I don't mind the little pony logo, nor the alligator, on a polo shirt. I just is part of the iconic look of the garment in my mind. However, I don't like the Barker Black skull logos.

Otherwise, I'm all about the groupthink.

Yeah but that's because I possibly want a new pair of slim fit slacks and want to know what's out there in the non-designer realm. The IGent part was to say: don't suggest TB or Raf Simons, I know these guys.
