These are just celebrities, though Kanye does some good stuff I suppose. This doesn't seem to have a whole lot to do with style but I haven't read the article nor do I plan to...

Glenn O'Brien wrote Downtown '81 and hosted TV Party, so he's pretty much one of the coolest men ever.

As for the rest of the list, meh.

Oh yeah, for sure. I thought you were using the term celebrity in the Paris Hilton sense, and saying none of these people except for Kanye actually did anything.

Sid Mashburn owns a store in Atlanta, and has served as design director for RL, J. Crew, and Land's End. Not really celebrity status.

The inclusion of some ridiculous choices for this list pretty much invalidates the legitimacy of the rest of the list.

Glenn O'Brien's inclusion even makes up for that eurotrash **** in the bottom photo.

His presence solely justifies that 130 page Gucci cologne ad we know fondly as GQ.

I don't understand. Most of the people in these photos were done-up by stylists-- presumably, GQ's stylists. So how do these studio shots in any way illustrate how "stylish" these people are?

No, I don't think any of these men are particularly stylish, but Kanye comes closest.
