Are you sure? I have you in there as well.

Vox to me you are the Rodney Dangerfield of styleforum. Your one liners are the best on the forum and are plentiful. Your sartorial skills are lacking in comparison to Mr. Dangerfield's, for proof just watch Caddy Shack.

OMG, I loved that blonde chick in Caddy Shack so much...my eyes just got misty.

I wish mafoofan were here so that I could take his Rubinacci silk square to blow my nose.

Haha, no, I'm never sure. That ensemble was an admittedly far venture from my usual, but I said I'd do it and so stuck to my guns (haha). You were buying HL back in the early 90's? I miss HL terribly... I didn't get into his stuff until 98 or 99, but up until he quit, he pretty much made up 1/2-3/4 of my wardrobe. I especially liked the Egyptian cotton tees, the standard jeans, and even the skinny cargo pants.

I demand razor-sharp analysis and erudite observations.

Failing that, cheap snark will do.

This sample is a bit large. Who's willing to post a digest of it?

I feel that real HL from that period has staying power that eludes most designers. The stuff was classic but not through mere recapitulation.

Do you still have things by him left in your wardrobe? Dry cleaning has killed most of mine.

I'm very proud that it was you who so quickly zeroed in on the need that this thread creates...which is the need for further editing.

When you bring it, you bring it all the way.

I do believe that I can oblige on the cheap part, since I decided not to charge for viewing this thread.

At least, the cost to the reader will simply be spiritual, rather than financial.
