Louis Vuitton Tie's

Forums like this have made me wary of LV, but I finally decided to check out the Louis Vuitton boutique in the local Holt Renfrew a few days ago, and was quite impressed by their ties. The quality of those ties has to be amongst the best I've ever encountered. The silk is quite substantial and the interlining is quite resilient. I ended up buying one of their celeste ties after debating it for a day or two. It reminds me of a Charles Alexander tie that I wanted, but got sold out when everyone else here dog-piled on him for the exact same tie and bought him out.

Anyone else here have experience with LV ties?

LV ties are very nice. They used to sell them at C21.

Not to steal the thread BUT C21's tie brands have been going down hill.

Strange. I thought LV didn't discount or sell through 3rd parties. If I could find some on sale, I would love it.

Yes I have one, I bought it last year or two years ago. Interestingly, they still have the same design at my local LV but in different colour.

Of all the LV ties I've had I would put them with a similar feel to my Stefano Ricci ones.

Also, if you can afford LV ties do you not have the education to properly make the title "Louis Vuitton's ties"?

Again, that's LVoer, but it's nice to know you regard me as an omnipotent force on SF.

The printed silk doesn't tie as nicely as the woven silk ones, but the ties are great. I hang them up after I wear them and the wrinkles come out fine every time.

I may buy LV ties, but I'm still not pretentious enough to need to drink a latte from a bowl at Holt's cafe. LOL.

i bought a couple of those ties at c21 as well ,but i was shocked to see them there.

I think they were $70 or $80. They were definitely not more expensive than that.

My local Macy's (Roosevelt Field) has a Vuitton store and I saw the exact same ties there.
