ya I am aware of this...and now think of the incredible focus (or zen-like no-focus) required to read it, in which the reader is bored like a middle aged hooker: reliant on my patience; unmediated by any sense of enjoyment for the pages I was eke-ing through

Anybody here into the fantasy thing??
Right now im reading the story of:
A song of ice and fire by George.R.R. Martin

About 5 books all over 750 pages. great story and great character development.

Excellent series I highly recommend it to anyone, and please don't let the fantasy thing scare you off. Its no harry potter. These are adult themes, and the character development is amazing.
