Metro what did you think of the book?

Just came across the author and was wondering whether to bother with reading any of his work?

ya I am aware of this...and now think of the incredible focus (or zen-like no-focus) required to read it, in which the reader is bored like a middle aged hooker: reliant on my patience; unmediated by any sense of enjoyment for the pages I was eke-ing through

Excellent series I highly recommend it to anyone, and please don't let the fantasy thing scare you off. Its no harry potter. These are adult themes, and the character development is amazing.

I am currently reading two pieces of literature: The Bourne Betrayal and The Prince by Machiavelli. College reading takes over the bulk of my reading though.
