First Jantzen - wanted a slim fit, think I got it. I washed and ironed it this AM. Worried it may be TOO tight. The fit actually feels good, just don't know about the drape. Thoughts? Wasn't sure about collar size, and it turned out too tight - will fix that next time. Will get a split yoke and no shoulder pleats. Will get sleeves .5 inches longer. What else needs to be fxed on my next order? Thanks in advance!

Looks pretty good,I don't like the collar though.
Can you actually move around freely? What is the fabric number?

I can move in it just fine.

The fabric is: 8113 - European Cotton White

Good point about the collar - I don't like it either. What I got was #5, Regular Spread. Will get something longer next time. Suggestions from the veterans?

Are you going to wear this shirt with jeans? If not, the pictures make it tough to gauge fit, because a higher rise trouser will make the shirt show a bit differently at the waist. I think it looks really good. If it is tight anywhere, it looks like it is tight at the hips. As you said, make the collar a bit looser. The right shoulder might be a bit too narrow, but if it feels comfortable, then it's fine.

Not sure what your problem with the collar shape is. Resembles what Polo is doing right now, I think, with the Black Label. P15 is a good collar shape too. Any collar will look a bit different though depending on the point length. If you added .25 inches to the points on this collar, it'd look different. I would, however, go with the 0" collar space -- looks like you got .25 or .5"

looks like the collar is almost choking you. can you rotate your neck without dragging the shirt?
i dont think the sleeves need to be longer, there is already fabric bunching up unless the shirt shrinks heaps after a few more washes

The closest I see is #15 but it's not what I would order,I don't think they have this collar on the web, maybe you could send it to them and they can replicate it?

Thank you for your comments. I am mostly going to wear it with dress trousers, was just wearing jeans when I found the time to take the photos for SF. You are VERY observing - I actually tried moving the button to make the collar bearable. It gave me an extra .25, but not enough as others have noticed. Originally the shirt had 0 collar space, as I ordered.

... and I think you did an amazing job on the shirt -- especially for your first order! Well done!

Other than the neck I think everything else is pretty good.

How long did it take from order to receiving goods?

Thank you.

Ordered: 01/14/09
Delivered: 02/04/09

I called to make sure he received the order, which seems to be the magic ingredient for success.

You've got me very intriqued.

A few more questions if you don't mind.

-did you measure yourself or ask somebody to measure you? or did you take measurements off a well-fitting shirt?

-what allowances for shrinkage did you figure into the shirt?

-total turnaround time to you receiving the shirt is 20 days, that's amazing. Were you charged custom fees?
