My opinion is if you are in a position to buy a Lange, do it.

That is a gorgeous model and looks a bit more interesting than the typical white or black faced model.

I hate the overlap of the date window with the time dial. Hate it. It's like they took the Lange 1 movement and just put it in a bigger case. I think the Lange 1 looks great, but I could never get past that overlap on the Grand model.

Good point. From the brochure, it looks like that what they did.

I agree with this as well, the overlapping date as well as the second face has a negative impact on the harmony of the dial layout. I prefer the smaller version for that reason.

Irrespective of your decision, its a great watch and worth the liquidation of the collection.

Wish they made the Nomos without the label and without the sub dial.

That would be my perfect dress watch.

Thanks imightbechad! It's an Omega Speedmaster Professional Limited Edition (40th Anniversary of the first space walk). It has the exact same case and movement of the regular non-LE speedmaster.
