These clothes are for men who want to "pimp their clothes" and the emphasis is on the word PIMP.

Actually, less buttons is in now. When I first started buying suits, I hunted thrift stores. My first new suit was purchased for me by my ex and had 6 buttons. At the time, the more buttons the better was in. Urban stores had 7, 8 buttons suits. I probably still have one or two in the closet. Four buttons at the time was the minimum.

Urban suits seem to follow the trend of conventional suits, but to the extreme. As two buttons became more popular than 3, urban suits now have 2 or 3 or maybe 4 buttons. If they have more, they're in some weird pattern like one of the ones posted with 3 sets of 2. It's not uncommon to see a suit with all of the buttons hidden. Little details, like back pleats and ticket pockets are more popular now than multiple buttons. I like both of those, as well as the contrast stitching, but the weird cuts and huge lapels are too much for me.

I believe you are describing a double-breasted jacket.

You'd think, but nope. I'll find a picture if I have time.

They have single-breasted jackets with three sets of two buttons.

And a waistcoat which I guess is one-and-a-half breasted?
