I must be the oldest guy on the planet. That's the first cheat code you used??!! My first was, of course, Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right Start.

This is the first game I ever remember playing on my dad's old pre-8086 home computer. It was called "Alley Cat" (circa 1982-1983ish)
I also remember being a big fan of Zaxxon on that same computer
Later when we got our blazing fast 386 that ran Windows 3.0 I was able to run the first FPS shooter ever - Catacomb Abyss! It was also the first game I ever remember pirating from a local BBS site.
Followed soon with Wolfenstein 3D
And I remember installing the very first edition of Alone In The Dark on a 486 without a CD-Rom drive. It took at least a dozen floppy disks circa 1992

I could never get behind a game where you'd lose health by just walking around. Then death would come out and zap about 150 health points....its like they're telling you to hurry up and get off.

Remember the NEO-GEO arcade games? It was always a challenge to find a box with only good games.
i remember NEO GEO. i loved Ninja Combat. people would be amazed as i go through the whole 7 levels with just one quarter. it was like watching a show for them. they were all little kids though. and some nerdy adults.
