I agree 100%. That was the best cheat code ever.

My fave NES games: Contra, Spy Hunter, Punch Out and that wrestling game Pro Wrestling (best move was the back brain kick). That dirt bike game was good also.. ExciteBike?

I am old as hell....

Atari 2600 my fave game was Pit Fall

Oregon Trail.
Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?
The Secret of Monkey Island/Monkey Island Series.
Leisure Suit Larry Series
Heretic/HereticII/Hexen/Hexen II
DOOM! IDDQD bitches!
Duke Nukem / 3D

As someone who spent his teen years with an N64 (that sounds pathetic

), I have to say that Goldeneye or Perfect Dark were indeed the best games. Actually, I think the multiplayer of the latter was better.

Galaga is one of the better games from the 80's. I spend many quarters playing Galaga in the video game corner at local 7-11.

Yes, ExciteBike! I can still clearly hear the sound of the "bike-overheating alarm" in my head.

Pretty much all text-based Sierra games were the ****. I didn't play consoles much. I can remember skipping school when Super Mario Brothers 3 came out though.

Zelda II is my all-time favorite game. Quick story with that...

Back in the day they had Nintendo cereal. For my birthday in May my mom bought me a box. I was like, wtf? Thanks mom. So I opened it up and voila! there in the box next to the crappy cereal was a brand spanking new copy of Zelda II. I thought it was really a prize in the cereal and was convinced I was eating a $50 box of trix knockoffs.

I wasnt familiar with the Zelda series since I was like 8 back then, but I remember playing the **** out of it and on X-mas eve I finally beat that game with no cheats. Sadly, that is one of the greatest accomplishments of my life.

I was incredible in Perfect Dark. I actually gained PERFECT 1 status in about 2 years of play!
