Btw will def no on the raf. I don't think the 54 will fit, I barely fit into 50-52s and I'm half your size.

It is a pretty sick coat, I've seen it in the navy/black marble, green/gold marble along with that version.

yeah, i think the jill peacoat will fit in a 54. i've dropped a few. if not, it should be easy enough to resell.

NDG Regulation Trench

ndgtrenchzr6.jpg

Local store has it on sale for a pretty good price ($400). One real concern is if it will be hot to wear, as fabric is poly.

If i'm only to own 1 trench, i don't know if it should be black, or grey

Think it's cropped atleast a handful of inches short to be wearable long term. Reminds me of something you'd see on yesstyle, but better quality.
Poly will also be very clammy feeling in anything short of light showers.

^Are they cheap? J Crew shoes don't have a great reputation for quality/durability (exceptions being shoes made for J crew, like their red wings), but the styling of those looks nice.

Rugby RL:

So right now I'm basically choosing between AA and Rugby. I'd probably get the Rugby tailored. Anyway, just how bad is the quality of AA stuff (especially compared to Rugby)? It's obviously a bit slimmer, but I'm not sure if the thinness/cheapness makes the drape look weird.

Anyway, I also picked up some non-prescription glasses at a thrift store for four bucks. I'd feel like a huge douchebag if I were wearing clear-framed Oliver Peoples, but I just thought these looked cool for $4. Thoughts?

save for the BoO you don't need a ton of buttondowns every year just a couple. the glasses look fine.
