So no return to the slim-fit cut?

No, I am afraid not. To get a slim fit, we suggest sizing down one. I will be posting pictures of me in a size small (my normal size) and an extra small with each button down to give you an idea on how it fits.

I love your clothes, they match my style philosophy perfectly. I own 3 pieces which get a compliment every time I wear them out, I've noticed some people need to touch the chambray when they see it

. Also with the "styleforum" code the price point is perfect, any more I simply couldn't afford it.

I'm sorry Michael, but due to your new sizing I think you lost some customers! Your clothes no longer fit; I really enjoyed your older smaller cuts; it made your company stand out to me.

In a way I would agree. It was the uniqueness of the slim cut with simplicity and nice quality to the line that I was just starting to really enjoy. I can get a semi slim fit with roomy arms from other retailers for far less (granted not to the same attention to detail or even quality of MJK), but nonetheless. I was willing to pay more for the truly slim tailored cut with shorter shirt hems. It was these things that kept me coming back for more. I will keep an eye on the new stuff b/c I respect MJK's work, but I don't think I'll be as inclined to make a purchase the same way I was with the slim cut. Just my opinion.

We are sorry about those who wore our slim extra small. One of the reason we went away from the slim sizing is because our extra smalls were the lowest selling, while medium and especially larges were consistently selling out first. Extra smalls were also the most difficult shirt to sew because some pieces almost didn't fit on the sewing machine and serger because they were too small.

We would have liked to be able to offer the slim cut version, but it just isn't feasible for us right now from a production standpoint.

you'll get new customers like me with the new fit to make up for the lost customers who can only wear XS or smaller. i can't fathom grown men being that little.

you also have a lot more wide range of clothing retailers to purchase from too. theres not many clothing retailers who make xs slim cut things. if mjk was a lot more known it would have sold out a lot more quickly. i don't think its known past sf and sufu.

a lot of people everywhere ask me where i got my mjk hoodie or mjk shawl all the time. i go to them its michael j krell. their first expression is who the heck?

thank god for BoO still.

We can only go on what sells on SF & SuFu since almost all of our non-underwear sales come through these two sites.

One of these days we hope to get into the custom shirting game, so hopefully we can meet everyone's needs at that point.
