Just took a browse through some of his fits to see if my general opinion was justified. Actually he's done more right than I recall, I guess the worst ones just stick out in my mind... but the worst ones are really, really awful. Again in my opinion and with no personal offense meant as neofinitia seems like a good guy. I understand what rye means about the 6 year old thing, a lot of these fits just seem so utterly and offensively random, like you have a giant wheel on it with articles of your clothing and you spin it a few times and put on whatever it stops on. I actually appreciate a "wow that's ridiculous and awesome at the same time, but I sure as hell could never wear it" kind of look, which unfortunately are rarer now... remember maharlika though? He didn't bat 1000 but he consistently had unique, solid fits.
That has some coherence and perspective behind it (despite the fact that I couldn't wear a single piece in either of those two fits)... a lot of the above, from where I sit, isn't so much eccentic as bizzare, not so much unorthodox as disorganized. PS in trying to find those maharlika fits I realized that around 80% of this thread has taken place in the last year. What the hell happened?
