Seriously, sometimes I use a butcher knife to scrape the paint off. It takes a lot of ******* elbow grease. Some of that paint is probably 3 years old.

This is false. Like how my reaction will be when I eat your food for the first time.

Acutally, I kind of like the idea. Symbolizes a young (not so stuggling based upon the clothes he wears) artist full of angst who channels the collective rage of a men's clothing forum across teh interwebz through his brush and onto a canvas.

I might actually buy something like that, hang it on the wall, tell wankers the story, and inwardly laugh at them as they tilt their heads, stroke their chins and say something dull and wankery to pretend that they get it.

Selling my disgusting, crusty ass palette as a piece of art goes against everything that I believe in.

Good morning to you VKK.

Good morning to you to GS (although its afternoon for me). You are up early.

Isnt that one of the things about being an artist? At some point some benefactor / patron of the arts comes along and you have to sell your soul (and maybe your ass) for his financial support? Then to exact a bit of revenge when he commissions a mural for his library you paint in scenes of you diddling his wife while rabid dogs tear him limb from limb.

True, we give up/lose ourselves in the commercial aspect of art. But why would I seek retribution for having to sell my soul (Or ******)? Although (In bold) that would make a pretty bad ass painting.

And yes, I am up way too early.

When I was seventeen, my sister tried to borrow my Def Leppard album. I said "No way."
