I don't own any of his clothing, but this guy is a marketing/promotional genius.

He continues to come up with concepts that get attention and press based upon a very simple concept that he executes very well.

My first thought when I saw this was , "How much did this cost"? I'm sure a lot but probably a lot less than a few full page ads in major fashion magazines and with a lot more impact.

Good move Thom. I tip my marketing hat to you!

I don't know, don't really see anything brilliant about dressing up 40-50 guys exactly alike (in somewhat boring clothes) and having them stand by desk. I think his other shows, where the models are wearing outlandish outfits or iceskating in tuxedo's with shorts is more visually and conceptually appealing.

Reminds me of the Pitti Uomo robot display a couple years back, except that was actually cool.

Not disagreeing but apparently it was more than standing by the desk. Not that it's any more impressive, but they all sat, ate, worked, whatever in unison.

Interesting, but hardly original. That said, I like it.

Really well-realized display of his aesthetic. Theatrical without the gumball machine absurdities of prior runway shows.

I think it was pretty damn cool. IMO, it's a distillation of the aesthetic to it's most pure interpretation. Pretty brilliant.
