I'd drive out for that. Even Red Deer has to be better than Saskatoon.

It's abysmal. Red Deer is close behind Grande Prairie, Fort McMurray and Lloydminster for least classy cities in the western hemisphere. So many trucks and Cavaliers with Roxy stickers. So many.

Well, I guess we'll just have to do the Alberta SF meet-up in Saskatoon then. It's equal distance from both Calgary and Edmonton - or pretty close anyway.

Heh.

Saskatoon is the Saskatoon of Saskatchewan. I'm going to opt out.

LOL. You never realize how many pickups are in the province until you leave and realize that only in Alberta are 50%+ of all vehicles pick me ups.

I lived in Edmonton for 6 years at one point, for uni. First lived in Oliver, which I really liked, but moved just south of Whyte (78th) to be closer to friends. Haven't been back for a while. I didn't really like that neighbourhood then ('90s) and I guess it's gotten a lot worse now.

Are the Strath and Commercial still around?
