I got another Marc jacobs peacoat. This time mainline, it is like a tweed wool fully lined peacoat made in italy. Im so stoked got it for an unbelievable price. Original is $990. I will post photos you have to see this.

I spent 3 months going to the store, every other week, stroking this thing. One week right before xmas it disappeared someone must have gotten it.

Today i go back there, and there it was, my size only, hanging there for me to purchase. At their post-inventory clearance price! Woohoo!

socal, what drkshdw cut? Wondring cause I just got my first pair, in the detroit cut, and they're a lot roomier than I thought they'd be. They're not that slim at all. Nothing wrong, just not really what I expected.

I was talking to Chrono about the same thing. I'm not sure what the Detroit vs. Berlin cut and all that shizz. I'll post pics soon, they're sort of an earthy denim/jean/pant thing. I need more casual pants in that color story as I really only have 1 pair to wear with my brown Augusta boots.

Apparently the Berlin cut is higher rise (mid-rise then, I guess) and more relaxed at the thighs but I thought mine were pretty relaxed in the thigh area as well. Mine are also more of a jean/pant kind (very thin/light weight). They're black though, and waxy in a matte kind of way. Looking forward to pics.

A few of my recent favorite things... . All J.Crew, all the time. Top two were under 20 each from the Final Sale.

Next up, of course, the infamous Spenser Shawl Collar cardi (for the record, after a round of returns, I finally settled on a Large as best-fitting!), and the ribbed cotton sweater jacket:

Krane "Emory" Bomber. It is simply amazing. Oak has the better pictures in this case, and their medium is a 40 (short arms though. I would recommend sizing up if you don't have midget arms) and Context has a 42 left.

The detroit cut is similar to dior 19cm and generally with someway frayed hem (where it's meant to tear a little, at least mine are). The berlin cut is still relatively "slim" but definitely not skinny. Probably similar to dior 21cm, where they're slim (not tight) in the thighs and generally a straight leg with maybe a slight slight taper. I had a pair of berlins in the i think dust wash, but sold them because i wanted something slimmer. In retrospect, i should've held onto them as the quality was nice, and a good relaxed (for what i'm used to wearing at least) fit. Vashin- What did you end up getting? I completely forgot about it and just emailed them seeing if they had the grey cash/wool trousers in my size left. I still wish they had the blue suspender ones in my size. I'm gonna be jealous if those are what you got. If i had more balls and a climate that would allow me to wear it, i would've snatched that caped mac lightning fast
