I think paisley ties are all about timing for me, wear them in the right instance, and they're fine, however way too often I've seen people wearing them in a non-matching sence and in the wrong circumstances.
Perhaps try Duchamp, can't go wrong there.. Also, Brioni paisleys have a nice, kinda less striking appeal to them. If you like something a bit different & don't mind the cost, there are some wild Pancaldi paisleys out there..
