Alternative to EG Bedford

I recently saw a guy wearing a sport coat similar to the EG Bedford- herringbone, heavy tweed, patch pockets- but the most interesting thing was it had a strip of leather on each of the cuffs. It was really sharp looking. Anyone know where I can find a jacket like this? I could even settle for it without the cuffs... I seem to be about two years too late to find a bedford anywhere.

i doubt this will be the last year EG does a herringbone bedford.

that said, the season is approaching its end so you might as well wait till next year.

or try to pick one up for cheap in the off season since the same garment will be made again next year and sold for retail.

The upland looks great, but its not exactly what I'm looking for, and mucho expensive. The Freemans also looks close, but something isn't quite right about it. Too many buttons i guess. That looks like a great label though, I'm glad to know about it.

Is this even going to be possible? I haven't found a store that has had any in stock for months.

Herringbone wool has a strange kind of power over me. Freemans stuff looks awesome.
