Oh, if you must do motorboats, my jaw did drop one afternoon on a Rivarama on Lago di Garda.

12 knot cruise in the open ocean on full electric, or diesel/electric hybrid. Or whatever the sail will get you. Also - replenishes its battery charge by moving through the water, or being anchored in current - giving it supposedly global range. Interesting technology anyways, and a snappy looking boat!

The 118 WallyPower to be precise. Still smitten (and still don't have one).

That Jeff Coons yacht is pretty cool too.
