I went up and down Bloor today and I couldn't find a Navy blazer with with brown horn buttons. Can anyone recommend a brand that makes such a blazer?

No, but ... this is an easy problem to solve. Just get a blazer you like, and that fits you, and change the buttons. Much easier than hunting for the perfect blazer with the "right" buttons, or altering one that doesn't fit well just because you like the buttons.

Polo RL has a nice 3 roll 2 Navy Sportcoat by Corneliani with brown horn buttons and nice soft shoulders. They are 30% off right now ~ $760. The reason they are not on sale any further is that they are a basic item that doesn't go deep discount, even in these tough retail times. I know because I want it but only if it was further reduced.

I tried this DB blazer today:http://www.ralphlauren.com/product/i...entPage=family

It fits me very well and I really like it,must be Corneliani piece. What do you guys think?I'm hunting for a DB blazer, don't like the buttons though.I would be replacing them, although I am not sure if it is a good idea.

Yes, the thought of changing the buttons did occur to me but I was just wondering if anyone knew of one OTR.

yea, i saw this in the RL Polo section at Saks as well. Not sure if it was on sale though. patch pockets, beautiful brown horn buttons, 3 button roll-2 just as described. the fabric was a wool-cashmere blend that was very beautiful but also seemed a bit delicate for frequent use.

Manton really needs to come out with a clothing line.

Just get someone else's clothing line that fits you well, and have a "Manton" label sewn into it.

Depending on your size, the navy jacket in my sig has horn buttons.

I'm the guy that posted I'd take it in a 40R or even 38R preferably.

Since there has been a strange lack of interest in the 42 and a frenzy of people wanting the 40, I might be able to sell the 40 and make the 42 work for me. I'll try them both on again and let you know.

I picked up a cashmere Polo RL 3-roll-2 with brown horn button on eBay for ~$400.
