Just by looking at it, I don't even like what the construction of the glove looks like. I can't imagine any baseball player worth a **** buying this.

Unlike other baseball gloves, these could be subject to big reductions on price, mark downs etc. like other items, so lets hope for a nicer price in the long run

What makes a glove worth $400?

And what makes you think you're good enough to be using a glove that retails for $400? Just kidding. I'm actually interested in the make up of a $400 glove too.

I don't see why a die-hard baseball fan wouldn't buy a $400 glove...

There's baseball cards worth more than that. People buy multiple pairs of $300 jeans, people that aren't good cyclists buy $3000+ road bikes. Women buy $600 purses etc. Any good Surfboard costs $350- $600. If baseball is your passion $400 isn't that much for a very awesome glove.

However the denim glove is just lame...

What's next? A lacrosse stick with selvedge denim for a pocket? There are baseball gloves that are worth $400-just not this one.

A $400 dollar glove is completely excessive and should only be used if someone else (agent or team) is buying or you have a ridiculous MLB contract and cash flow. I was given that rawlings "primo" to try out and I hated it. It was HEAVY... felt like it had just been treated with too many oils and creams.

When i order my gloves I get the heart of the hide leather which retail for about $160 and they suit me just fine.

Rawlings positions the primo glove as a piece that will last for years and years on end, but every year professional baseball players (even a lot of the minor leaguers) get more than they could use in a season.
