Superb choice. The new Omegas are terrific. Beautiful watchback as well.

I really like the 3705 en 3786 ceramic fliegers .

- the TG emblem & the red jet detail isn't that bad IRL, actually makes it as a great talking piece

Very nice IWC. Perhaps I'll pick up one of those bad boys at some point. Thanks for sharing!

& today's impulse purchase (that's 2 in 1 week!)

I was on my way to pick up the GO Sport EVO GMT (never can have too many GMTs, also my GMT IIc is still with my ex..) & just could not warm up to the GO SE GMT.. The polished surfaces are too shiny for me & even though the bracelet is a marvel in execution, I just felt conflicted with the round & hard surface design..

So I walked out with something completely unexpected..

JLC AMVOX1 LS in Ti #1xx/1000

Wow the alarm is great, reminds me of the bell at school & the grey/green hue of the Ti is so stealth like (I guess a week of wearing the IWC TG has this effect).

& did the AMVOX1 sing to me!

Well some quick & dirty pics - not the easiest watch face to capture due to the curve & lack of anti-reflection.

The minute hand has a very erotic shape. JLC is a classy brand but not this watch though. For alarm, I'd much prefer GP for designs. I'll even take a Thommen Cricket.

Love the Sinn dial! Crappy valjoux movement though.

Nice pick up PG. I always liked the original Memovox design and thought JLC did a pretty good job deriving it into the Amvox series.

Looking at it on your wrist though, I won't point out the obvious but... well you know... maybe the watch is not too big and maybe you need to do something about that puny wrist.
